The sun in the Bahamas is HOT! Remember to take your sunscreen, sunglasses, and if you burn easily, clothing to cover yourself up with along the way.

Kayaking is a water activity, so be aware that anything that goes in the kayak with you will get wet whether it be from splash from passing boat wake, drops from paddles, or a quick rain storm.

Kayaking is a physical activity, remember the further you venture, the further the paddle to return. Bring along water and a snack to enjoy as you take a break and drift along, or stop at a beach to enjoy the sand.

When you start your journey paddle against the wind first, so you have a nice, relaxing down-wind return.
